Soil stabilization with lime for erosion control in solar plants

چکیده
The installation of solar parks requires extensive areas and results in soil erosion many cases. One suitable solution is applying lime to improve characteristics, such as mechanical strength, stability, workability, durability, internal surface resistance. This treatment particular importance when dealing with hydraulic structures conceived the park drainage systems. erodibility tests were performed a complex an EFA apparatus constructed measure rate cohesive non-cohesive soils different flow rates. or without 3% addition two compaction conditions. experiments indicated that lime-treated represents between 26% 12% values obtained from untreated under reduced compaction. ranged 16% 7% for controlled represent significant reduction treated even compaction, performing efficient, economical, sustainable control.

Application of Polyacrylamide for Splash Erosion Control on Marl Soil
Splash erosion is recognized as the first stage in the process of erosion that results in bombardment of the soil's surface with rain drops. Two basic processes in soil erosion are the dispersement of soil particles by rain drops and the changes caused to the soil's structure, which are then moved by runoff. In this research, the effect of various polyacrylamide (PAM)values (0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 ...

The study investigated challenges to soil erosion control measures among farmers in Anambra State, Nigeria. Purposive, multistage and random sampling techniques were employed in selecting a sample size of two hundred and forty (240) respondents. Structured interview schedule was used for data collection. Frequency counts, percentage, mean scores and factor analysis were used for data analysis. ...
متن کاملEffect of Nanoclay on Soil Erosion Control
Wind erosion is a widespread phenomenon in arid region. The purpose of this study was assessed the capacity of nanoclay to control soil erosion in wind tunnel experiment. The nanoclay isolated from soils was dominant in montmorillonite. A sandy soil from the Khara desert, nearly 100 km East of Isfahan (Central Iran) was used. The soils of this area are structurally unstable and sandy texture ma...
